MAJOR GRANTS – 2022 - 2023

The Rotary Club of Hamilton AM invites organizations to submit funding proposals to support projects that promote the health and development of our community, the City of Hamilton.
Up to $15,000 is available for funding for one large project from one organization, or a combination of projects from a number of organizations, which make an application in response to this call for proposals circulated through social media and our website. Requests for multi-year project funding will also be considered.
Preference will be given to proposals which demonstrate the following:
- A focus on children, youth and/or their families
- “Bricks & Mortar” projects, which provide tangible, permanent results
- Offer potential volunteer opportunities for Rotary members and their families
- Sustainability; the ability to be reasonably maintained in the future with a minimum of negative environmental impact
- The meeting of a significant community need; and
- Matching dollar arrangements (which can include in-kind options)
Please note that Major Grants will not be considered for:
- Administrative or ongoing programming or operational costs
- Sporting events; teams or individuals
- Debt relief
- Fundraising campaigns led by other charities
- Individuals or unincorporated organizations

The deadline for application submissions is April 30, 2022. Successful applicants will be contacted by June 30th, 2022 and funding will be made available by September 1st, 2022.
