Grant Application – 2025-2026
Please review the following guidelines to determine if your organization or project will qualify for consideration by the Rotary Club of Hamilton AM
Applications for 2025-2026 are now closed
The organization requesting funds must be located in the City of Hamilton and the project should also take place in the City of Hamilton or have a positive impact on Hamilton residents.
Projects that best match our club’s local priorities have the best chance of approval. These priorities are:
Priority areas of Rotary International are as follows:
- Promoting Peace
- Fighting Disease
- Providing clean water
- Saving mothers and children
- Supporting education
- Growing local economies
- Protecting the environment
Our areas of local priority are as follows:
- Literacy
- Poverty
- Children's Well- Being
- High-priority needs of the community
- Individuals, political candidates and political organizations are not eligible for grants.
- Only two applications will be considered per organization per year (July 1 to June 30).
- Applications must be submitted when the club indicates that the funding window is open.
- successful applicants will be expected to attend a club meeting and may be asked to make a presentation to members. Publicity related to cheque presentations may be required.
- Two types of grants are available; Minor Grants of up to $750 and Major Grants of up to $10,000. Please indicate on the form below which you are applying for.
*** All organizations that are awarded a grant will be required to submit a Final Grant Report including an itemized budget summary and proof that the funding was utilized as described in your original grant application.
