On December 10, Hamilton AM Rotary members were treated to a very interesting presentation on “Sustainability” by Michael Piczak. Understanding "Sustainability" will permit humans to better manage limited planetary assets, in order to continue our general standard of living in the present while simultaneously ensuring resource sufficiency for succeeding generations. What we do now will impact the condition of our planet and living standards in the future.
Mike had an excellent PowerPoint presentation and was able to show many current and local examples of failure to handle issues with a view to sustainability. Members were sorry the session ended!
