Reading Program at Hess St. School

This year again, 12 Rotarians from the Hamilton AM Club visit Hess St. School every week to help certain grade 2 and 3 students improve their reading skills. The program started in early January and continues until the beginning of April. Marnie Strauch (Literary Improvement Project Teacher at Hess) says" the kids are truly looking forward to their weekly get-together with their assigned Rotarian". She adds "not only do their reading skills improve, but their confidence and attitude also benefit greatly...thank you Rotary!
