On February 23rd, we mark 116 years since the founding of Rotary. It’s incredible to think about how much has changed since the first Rotary club met in Chicago.

Rotary started with the vision of one man — Paul Harris. The Chicago attorney formed the Rotary Club of Chicago on February 23, 1905, so professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas, form meaningful, lifelong friendships and serve their community and the world.

Over time, Rotary’s reach and vision gradually extended to humanitarian service. Members have a long track record of addressing challenges in their communities and around the world.

Whatever Rotary may mean to us, to the world it will be known by the results it achieves. With every project, we’re changing the world for the better

We will never know how different the world would have been without Rotary, but we do know that the world is a far better place with Rotary and that Rotary itself is stronger because of everyone's joint efforts. We thank our members, families and friends for being a part of Rotary serving humanity

We hope that all our members will take time not only to reflect on all that we have accomplished together the past 116 years, but also celebrate our recent accomplishments.
