An Annual tradition has returned! On the morning of December 21, Rotary Club of Hamilton AM members, family, Rotaractors and friends filled the school gym with pancake cooking teams and an assembly line preparing goodie bags for each student in the school. It started with a heartfelt welcome and greetings from our new Hamilton Mayor, Andrea Horwath and Club President Clare Freeman.
Meanwhile, others were setting a place for each child to enjoy a hot breakfast and runners took fresh pancakes with syrup in each classroom. While enjoying the treats, the students were excited to meet Santa and his singing elf minstrels. Also joining in the fun was Stripes, the Ti-Cat Mascot and Bruiser from the Bulldogs. At times, it was hard to determine who was more popular - for some this was their first introduction to Santa!
Along with a goodie bag of treats, each child received a new plush toy courtesy of the Salvation Army and a new book courtesy of Hamilton Public Library and First Book Canada.

The event sponsors included: The Salvation Army, Hamilton Community Rotaract, Tim Horton's (Bay and Cannon), City of Hamilton Public Health Department, Hamilton Public Library, Henry Schein Dental, Frank Rasco - Karma Candy and of course, the Rotary Club of Hamilton AM.
