Marnie Cluckie joined the City of Hamilto n as City Manager in January 2024\, returning after a decade of earlier se rvice from 2005 to 2015. With over 18 years of public sector leadership ex perience\, she has held senior roles with Halton Region\, Halton Community Housing Corporation\, Niagara Region\, and most recently served as Chief Administrative Officer for Niagara-on-the-Lake. Marnie holds a Master’s in Leadership and Organizational Development\, a Bachelor of Architecture\ , and a Bachelor of Environmental Studies\, along with executive certifica tions in leadership\, mediation\, and change management. She is currently pursuing an MBA and a Certified Economic Development designation. An activ e contributor to the municipal sector\, Marnie chairs the OMAA Aspiring CA O Committee and serves on AMO’s Workforce Development Taskforce and Fina nce and Economic Development Advisory Committee. A 2023 Women in Business Award nominee\, she is dedicated to advancing public service excellence\, sustainable development\, and transparent\, inclusive governance.
